FAQ

What's the cheapest way to get to Shinjuku?
By rail, the Keisei Main Line with a change at Aoto (~¥1,290). The TYO-NRT airport bus costs ¥1,500 with no change. The Skyliner plus the JR Yamanote Line is faster but costs ¥2,670 (IC ¥2,659).
Are there transport options after midnight?
Not by train or bus: both have finished by midnight (the last bus into central Tokyo, TYO-NRT, leaves at 23:30). The only way into the city is a fixed-fare taxi, and it needs no booking. Otherwise, wait for the first train (Keisei Access Express, 5:41) in the airport or a nearby capsule hotel. See the Late-Night Survival Guide.
Can I send my luggage to my hotel?
Yes. Yamato Transport and Sagawa Express have counters in the terminals. Delivery is next day as standard (two days for some areas), so keep a change of clothes and valuables with you.
