Option Details

Skyliner + Tokyo Metro Ginza Line

Take the Keisei Skyliner to Ueno (~44 min, ¥2,465 IC), then the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa (3 stops, ~7 min, ¥180). Total ~51–55 min / ~¥2,650. Ueno is the Skyliner's city terminus — the transfer to the Ginza Line requires a short walk between platforms (3–5 min). Large bags are manageable but watch for rush-hour crowds.

Keisei Through-Service (Toei Asakusa Line)

Some Keisei trains from Narita Airport run directly through to the Toei Asakusa Line, stopping at Asakusa without requiring a transfer (~85–95 min, ¥1,290 (IC ¥1,276) IC). Not all trains are through-service — check the destination board for "Asakusa" or "Nishi-Magome." If no direct train is available, transfer at Aoto or Oshiage.

Budget Highway Bus + Transfer

Airport Bus TYO-NRT runs to central Tokyo (Tokyo Station / Ginza area) for ~¥1,500. From there, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or Toei Asakusa Line to Asakusa (~15–25 min, ~¥200). Total ~¥1,700. No direct limousine bus to Asakusa. Build in extra time for traffic.

Taxi / Hire Car

The only option after the last train (after ~23:xx). Narita's official fixed-fare taxi scheme puts Asakusa (Taito) in Zone C: ¥29,000–31,000 depending on the route, plus expressway tolls and the 22:00–05:00 late-night surcharge. No reservation is needed — walk to the taxi stand and confirm the destination before getting in. Split four ways that is roughly ¥7,500 each before tolls and surcharge. The GO app also offers a flat airport fare with no advance booking; S.RIDE is strong inside Tokyo but is not the way to get picked up at Narita.
